Ebuka Emmanuel Ajaegbu is a Certified Internal Auditor and Associate Stockbroker with more than seven years of experience spanning internal audit, risk management, internal control and regulated financial services. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Statistics and brings a strong analytical perspective to assurance work.
He currently serves as Head of Internal Audit and Control at Norrenberger Securities Limited. His work covers governance, financial reporting, securities operations, regulatory compliance and enterprise risk, with clear reporting to executive management and relevant board committees.
Before joining Norrenberger, Ebuka progressed through four audit and risk roles at Hallmark Finance Company Limited, ultimately serving as Acting Head of Internal Audit. His work included strengthening audit methodology, introducing data-driven procedures, overseeing regulatory assurance and supporting the Board Audit Committee.
Alongside professional practice, Ebuka researches agency theory, information asymmetry and managerial accountability. His 2025 peer-reviewed paper examines internal audit as a governance mechanism for resolving principal-agent conflicts. He was also recognised by The Institute of Internal Auditors as a 2025 Emerging Leader.
